Donald Trump’s candidacy for president goes against everything the technology sector believes in and the prospect of his presidency would be “a disaster for innovation,” according to an open letter from industry leaders posted on Medium.

Tech luminaries including Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, Twitter co-founder Ev Williams, Expedia chairman Barry Diller, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian and former Cisco Chief Technology and Strategy Officer and Microsoft board member Padmasree Warrior are among those who signed the letter.

“We believe in an inclusive country that fosters opportunity, creativity and a level playing field. Donald Trump does not. He campaigns on anger, bigotry, fear of new ideas and new people, and a fundamental belief that America is weak and in decline,” they say in the letter.

The letter comes as Trump announces his vice presidential running mate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence.

Diversity is key to the tech industry, the tech leaders say, so much so that 40 percent of Fortune 500 companies were founded by immigrants or children of immigrants. Tech leaders advocated for more lenient immigration policies that would allow companies to bring in the best and brightest from around the world.

“Donald Trump, meanwhile, traffics in ethnic and racial stereotypes, repeatedly insults women, and is openly hostile to immigration,” the letter reads.

Tech leaders showed concern over Trump’s understanding of technology, citing statements that he favors “shutting down” parts of the Internet for security purposes.

Trump hasn’t received much support from the tech industry overall. CNN Money reported last month that only 52 people identifying as tech workers have donated to the Trump campaign, giving a total of $21,000. Hillary Clinton has received approximately $2.6 million from 2,000 tech donors. Bernie Sanders appears to be the favored candidate of the tech sector with more than 33,000 donations totaling approximately $6 million.

Trump has also gotten himself into some high profile spats with tech leaders like Apple’s Tim Cook and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos. Citing Trump’s comments throughout the campaign, Apple last month decided to pull funding and other support from the Republican National Convention.

At least one tech industry titan has Trump’s back: Peter Thiel.

The controversial co-founder of PayPal and early Facebook investor appeared on a list of RNC speakers obtained earlier this week by The New York Times. Facebook told Recode in a statement yesterday that “Thiel is attending and speaking at the RNC in his personal capacity. He is not attending on behalf of Facebook or to represent our views.”

Thiel also doesn’t seem to represent the views of many in the tech community. The Medium letter concludes with a rundown of what the tech industry wants in a presidential candidate.

“We stand against Donald Trump’s divisive candidacy and want a candidate who embraces the ideals that built America’s technology industry: freedom of expression, openness to newcomers, equality of opportunity, public investments in research and infrastructure, and respect for the rule of law. We embrace an optimistic vision for a more inclusive country, where American innovation continues to fuel opportunity, prosperity and leadership.”
