Soda.com, a Seattle media company that operates consumer sites like The Simple Dollar and Reviews.com, has sold to Red Ventures. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
It’s the latest in a series of acquisitions by Red Ventures, a digital media company out of Indian Land, S.C. The company has also gobbled up CourseHourse, Treehouse, Ampush, and Imagitas over the past two years.
“Red Ventures is the right partner for Soda moving forward,” said Soda CEO Corry Cummings, in a press release. “We both share a passion for connecting customers to great products and services; their unique capabilities and wealth of experience will help us better serve our users and accelerate our growth.”
Soda maintains a low-profile but has a sizeable team of 30 at its Seattle headquarters.
