GW calendar logoThe University of Washington’s annual Startup Weeken UNI is returning Jan. 15 – 17. The hackathon is part of the Seattle nonprofit of the same name, which hosts coding marathons all over the world.

UW’s event will kick off Friday evening with dinner and a pitch off. Teams will form around the top ideas, and participants have until Sunday to create their final products.

What: “The working sessions will have a topic and an area expert providing key insights and knowledge regarding the topic in a 20-minute lecture format. After the lecture, the attendees will break into working sessions to engage with the topic as it relates to them. Then we will have an ELC student presentation on a legal matter pertinent to startups. The Student will present for 25 to 35 min and then will work with the advising council to answer questions regarding that topic.”
