“Doctor Who” is coming back to Amazon thanks to a multi-year licensing agreement with BBC Worldwide North America that makes Prime Video the exclusive U.S. subscription streaming home for the popular sci-fi series.

Prime members will gain access to seasons one through eight of the award-winning TV series, plus all holiday special episodes, starting on Sunday. Season nine, as well as the Christmas special “The Husbands of River Song,” will be available on Prime this fall.

Netflix had previously hosted classic and current episodes of the series before that all ended in February.

“Doctor Who” began broadcasting on BBC America in 2005 and follows the Doctor, an alien from a race called the Time Lords, as he travels through time and space with numerous companions to repeatedly save the world. Actor Peter Capaldi currently plays the Doctor.
