LAS VEGAS – With the boom in wearable technology, there are an increasing number of fashion designers showing off their vision for clothing of the future at CES.

We came across the FashionWare exhibit, where a variety of high-end designers were showing off apparel that embeds some crazy technology. Whether anyone would wear these, we’re not sure, but they certainly make a bold fashion statement.

This dress contains an LED array that is activated by either loud sounds, like a hand clap, or when it is touched.

Another designer was showing off LED displays that can be attached behind see-through clothing. These displays were dynamic, and even customizable to display images or messages.

And yet another example, this time of a fabric that changes colors when exposed to UV light outside. Notice how the white fabric changes to purple when you step outside.
