Trending: Sightings of SpaceX’s Starlink satellites spark awe — and astronomical angst

Tesla’s new “Insane” button lives up to the hype.

At least that’s what we can grasp from the video above, during which Drag Times takes people for a ride in Tesla’s new $120,000 electric Model S P85D that can go 0-to-60 in 3.2 seconds.

After pressing an “Insane” button — literally — on the digital console once coming to a complete stop, the Drag Times driver gets to 60 MPH within seconds after pressing the accelerator. The reactions are absolutely hilarious, ranging from passengers who love the thrill to those that nearly crap their pants in fright. There’s also a young girl whose iPhone gets stuck on the back seat from the G Force.

The Drag Times driver told Mashable that although he pushed the accelerator all the way down in “Insane Mode,” the car was still completely in control and “very safe.”
