They have one of the best views of what’s going on with weather patterns from above. And now, International Space Station astronauts Terry Virts and Scott Kelly are going to hit a morning show to talk about it.

Virts and Kelly will appear on Wake Up With Al with Al Roker and Stephanie Abrams to talk about watching weather events from space. Virts is already known for his enthusiasm at capturing weather patterns and major events via his Twitter feed. Follow @AstroTerry for all his great footage here.

The astronauts will appear on the Weather Channel tomorrow at 6:40 a.m. ET. That’s a bit early even for the most enthusiastic morning person here in Seattle but don’t worry. Viewers in the Pacific time zone can check out the segment later in the day when the Weather Channel posts it here.
