Another month is in the books at GeekWire, and boy was it a big one. We hosted our largest event yet — the GeekWire Summit — on Oct. 1-2 with top speakers such as venture capitalist Nick Hanauer, Nike COO Eric Sprunk, Xbox chief Phil Spencer, Concur president Elena Donio, Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff and many others.
It was great to bring the community together to talk about the future of the tech industry.
Now, we’re getting fired up for two upcoming events — our popular GeekWire Game Night on Nov. 17 and the GeekWire Gala on Dec. 2. (Note: Early-bird ticket rates for the GeekWire Gala, which sells out every year, are available here).
Beyond events, we were busy producing stories during October that we hope you enjoyed, including uncovering yet another engineering office from a California tech giant and chronicling the continued rise of Amazon.com in Seattle.
Here’s a look at the top 10 stories on GeekWire for the month of October. Thanks for tuning in to GeekWire, and we hope to see you at our upcoming events.
