Some might think that a life in tech means grueling hours, crushing workloads and little free time to spend with friends and family.

Glassdoor’s new report on the best jobs with work-life balance offers a different perspective.

The site for everything jobs, including reviews of companies and work culture, has found that among the top 25 jobs for work-life balance, tech (data scientist, SEO manager and social media manager) solidly dominates the list, with ancillary jobs that could be tech-related rounding out the core 25, including talent acquisition specialist and recruiting coordinator.

The data was compiled based on employee feedback via the site over the past year. Glassdoor’s methodology requires that the jobs must have at least 75 ratings shared by U.S. employees to be considered, and work-life balance had to be a “pro” in at least 15 percent of reviews.

These jobs are hiring, too. These gigs had to have at least 200 active listings to be considered for the list.

While tech jobs tend to rank higher than most, overall work-life balance satisfaction continues to go down.

Glassdoor also found that “employees have reported an average work-life balance satisfaction rating of 3.5 in 2009, 3.4 in 2012, and 3.2 thus far in 2015* (Ratings based on a 5-point scale: 1.0=very dissatisfied, 3.0=OK, 5.0=very satisfied).”
