Porch’s CFO Jeff Dossett has left the company after joining the Seattle home improvement a little more than a year ago.

Dossett is now chief revenue officer at Good, a Los Angeles and New York City-based magazine, according to his LinkedIn profile. While at Porch, Dossett was also the head of partnerships and corporate development at the fast-growing company.

Craig Cincotta, Porch’s VP of communications confirmed Dossett’s departure in a statement.

“Following the completion of our $65 million Series B financing round in January we opened up the search for our go-forward CFO at Porch,” he said. “Throughout his tenure Jeff made several important contributions to our business, serving as both head of business development and interim CFO. We are excited for Jeff and the opportunity he has to return to his CRO (chief revenue officer) roots. Jeff will always remain a friend to Porch.”

In January, Porch raised $65 million in new capital from high-profile investors, including Valor Equity Partners, as well as, Peter Thiel via Founders Fund and TV personality Ty Pennington.

While Dossett’s departure seems sudden from an outsider’s perspective, Dossett appears to have been very successful at fundraising during his tenure at the company. In total, Porch has raised $100 million in less than two years.

According to LinkedIn, Dossett has been on the board of Good for more than eight years.

Porch said earlier this year that its latest round of capital would go towards product development, operations infrastructure, improvements to Porch’s data platform and employee growth at the company. At the time, its employee base had already surpassed 350.

Dossett’s departure was first reported by Puget Sound Business Journal.
