Think that little foam leaf your barista puts on your morning joe is impressive? Check this out.

A new printer called Ripples does just that. The machine takes any image or message from your smartphone and can re-create it in the foam, literally printing it, on your coffee.

According to Gizmodo, the machine doesn’t make coffee, it just enhances it. With a price tag of $1,000 with a minimum $75 per month subscription fee, it’s something that will likely only appeal to commercial businesses. The machine is set to launch this September, and Lufthansa is reportedly one of Ripple’s first clients and will install the machines in its airport lounges.
