MediaPro, a Bothell, Wash.-based company that develops e-learning software for employees at Fortune 500 companies, today announced a $5 million funding round led by Clovis Point Capital.

Founded more than two decades ago, MediaPro works with more than 300 clients ranging from Microsoft to Starbucks to Boeing and helps them teach employees about topics like security awareness, privacy awareness, compliance training, and more. Its software lets clients design their own training courses depending on specific needs of a company.

“Clovis Point Capital’s investment recognizes the unique value MediaPro’s industry leading technology brings to employee training,” Steve Conrad, founder of MediaPro, said in a statement.

MediaPro will use the fresh funds to build out its sales and marketing arm and further develop its e-learning platform. This is the 40-person company’s first round of outside funding.
