As if you needed one more reason to root for Arya Stark on HBO’s Game of Thrones, here’s another: The actress who plays Arya, Maisie Williams, watches the series with her whole family, including her nan.
Cast when she was only 12, Jimmy asks her if she’s even old enough to watch it. “I still don’t feel I’m old enough to watch the show,” she says. “And we used to watch it with my nan, and my auntie, and my cousins, and my dogs, and the whole family, everyone. And even my nan, my mom was like, ‘I don’t think you’re old enough to watch this,’ and she’s like 87. I don’t think you’re ever old enough to watch Game of Thrones.”
How do they get through the more, um, naked moments with nan? Give her gin, of course.
