Beer geeks get ready: Fremont Oktoberfest wants you to get a little more social with your beers.
The event has launched a new Instagram-based beer guide, featuring more than 100 brews, with an interactive infographic via a new channel at @fokt_beer.
The new Instagram channel will feature “up-to-date information on what’s pouring from the 48 breweries, and allows users to dive as deep as they want into the details, including style of beer, alcohol by volume (ABV) and descriptions of each beer,” according to the announcement.
The @fokt_map link also shows a map of the two-block grounds in Fremont so you can find your favorite breweries.
Of course, you can follow the news and connect via its regular Instagram @fremontoktoberfest. And you are encouraged to Instagram your favorite beers from the event, too.
An Oktoberfest with a “Texas Chainsaw Pumpkin Carving and Zucchini Car Race Track,” this seems like a winner for this weekend. Tickets start at $20 and are on-sale here.
