Like the thrill of match-ups via your Xbox, but wish you could connect with players who had more similar interests?
Meet Overdog, the “first interest-based game matchmaking service for Xbox One in the US, Canada, and Great Britain.” The new app launched today, which enables you to create a profile based on your likes (sports, music, films and more). You’ll be matched with someone with similar likes, and then it’s game on.
“Xbox One has one of the most active game communities in the industry, but there has been a need for players to be able to connect with likeminded gamers, not just random people,” said Eric Doty from Overdog in the release. “We want to take some of the anxiety out of being matched up with someone online…Overdog can find the right person for you.”
Launching with nearly a thousand topics, Overdog plans to add more based on feedback. Sounds fairly simple, yes?
