Watch out, Vegas.

GeekWire is bringing our special coverage to the 2015 International CES in early January. The annual Consumer Electronics Show is the “global stage for innovation” — a showcase of what’s to come in the ever-changing tech industry.

From virtual reality to the coolest new gadgets to the hottest parties, GeekWire will be on the scene, bringing you highlights from a show floor that covers the equivalent of 393 basketball courts. We’re sending our largest team ever to CES, underscoring our efforts to cover a wide range of technology news and trends.

We’ll kick off our coverage early in the week, with GeekWire’s Taylor “Doug” Soper covering the AT&T Developer Summit & Hackathon on Jan. 4 and 5. GeekWire’s Todd “Stu” Bishop and I will separately be conducting backstage interviews for AT&T’s DevTV, under a partnership between GeekWire and the wireless carrier.

GeekWire will be bringing you daily reports from the CES floor in Vegas.

We’ll be covering CES press day and then turning our efforts to the massive show floor, in search of the hottest trends in technology. Consider GeekWire your personal scouts for what to look for in technology in 2015 and beyond. We’re especially interested in discovering cool technologies from companies in the Pacific Northwest, so if you’re presenting at the show let us know at tips@geekwire.com.

You can track all of our special coverage of CES here: geekwire.com/CES. Anyone interested in talking advertising or sponsorship at this year’s show can contact GeekWire Chief Business Officer Daniel “Alan” Rossi at daniel@geekwire.com or 206-423-9196.

Just to get everyone in the mood, check out the video above that we put together. No word yet on whether we’ll hijack Mike Tyson’s pet tiger or even remember what happens for these six wild days in Vegas.
