We’ve seen some amazing Lego creations, but this one is timely and impressive.

According to Lego blog, the Brothers Brick, this Star Wars fan spent a year assembling about 7,500 Legos to create a replica of the Millennium Falcon.

A graphic designer based in Switzerland, Flickr user marshal banana posted many photos of his larger-than-life project here.

“At 7,500 pieces, Marshal’s Millennium Falcon uses fully 50% more parts than even the largest LEGO set ever sold (the 5,000-piece UCS Falcon),” states the Brothers Brick post. “This LEGO Millennium Falcon measures 82 x 54 x 18 cm, or nearly three feet long.”

It also weighs 22 pounds.
