—HotelTonight, the fast-growing mobile-based hotel booking service, has named Zillow chief marketing officer Amy Bohutinsky to its board. It marks the second board appointment for Bohutinsky so far this year, following her appointment to the Avvo board in June.

San Francisco-based HotelTonight launched in January 2011, and it has raised $80 million in venture funding to date. It boasts more than 11 million downloads and 15,000 hotel partners. Prior to Zillow, Bohutinsky worked on the communications team at travel startup Hotwire. She started her career as as a broadcast journalist.

—Kal Raman, a technology veteran who previously served as CEO of drugstore.com and COO at Groupon, has been named CEO of Nationstar Mortgage Holdings subsidiary Solutionstar. Solutionstar, designed to make buying and selling a home an easier process for consumers and real estate professionals, competes against Zillow, Trulia and Realtor.com.

Raman will be based in Seattle, where Solutionstar plans to open a new office to take advantage of the region’s tech talent. The former Amazon and Walmart veteran also will oversee the integration of Real Estate Digital, a real estate data integration company that Solutionstar acquired in May.

“Solutionstar is making a significant, sustained investment in innovation to make real estate services simpler and more accessible,” said Raman in a statement. “In the coming weeks and months, we look forward to unveiling new technology products and services to better connect consumers and real estate professionals – and, ultimately, to deliver a truly integrated, comprehensive online real estate solution.”

LiquidPlanner, the Seattle-based project management startup, has named Tom Murphy as Vice President of Customer Success and promoted Brett Bender to the position of Vice President of Engineering.

Murphy will oversee all customer-related activities, including on-boarding and customer support. The electrical engineering grad from Santa Clara University previously worked at companies such as Accenture, Apptio, Context Relevant, Chef and Mercury Interactive.

Prior to joining LiquidPlanner, Bender worked at Amazon.com. He holds degrees in computer science and psychology from Yale University.

—Marchex, the Seattle mobile advertising company, named former Razorfish and aQuantive employee Peter Greb to the position of vice president of national clients and former Samsung employee Daniel Behrendt to the position of vice president of strategy and development. Greg managed national brand accounts at Razorfish, including brands such as Hawaiian Airlines, Holland America Line, HSBC and Tourism New Zealand. Behrendt worked at Microsoft prior to his role at Samsung.

—Cameron Etezadi, the former senior vice president at Live Nation Entertainment and Amazon and Microsoft engineer, has been named deputy CTO at Concur Technologies. Etezadi worked as a development lead at Microsoft for 11 years, from 1996 to 2007.
