We’ve already compared Seattle and Denver in “The Startup Bowl.” (Yes, Seattle kicks the butt of Denver/Boulder).

But now two venture capitalists from the tech hotbeds are putting some real money on the line for today’s big game, with the proceeds going to a good cause.

Maveron’s Dan Levitan of Seattle, a Hawks fan and sports nut whose true love is Duke basketball, is betting Foundry Group’s Seth Levine of Boulder.

Here’s how the bet works.

If the Broncos win, Levitan will give $5,000 to the Children’s Hospital Colorado. If the Seahawks win, Levine will give the same to Seattle Children’s.

As lifelong Broncos fan, Levine notes it is a “win win for sure.” Levitan said he reached out to Levine to get a bet rolling after seeing this infographic from Pitchbook, comparing the two tech communities. Now, Pitchbook has jumped into the bet, donating $50 for every point scored during the game to the winning team’s Children’s Hospital.

Here’s the Pitchbook data. So, who do you think will win the battle?
