schools55The Alliance of Angels has led an $850,000 investment in Ravenna Solutions, a Seattle area startup that is developing tools to help K-12 independent and private schools more effectively oversee the admissions process. Ravenna Solutions is now being used at about 40 schools in five states, including The Evergreen School, Lakeside Prep and University Prep.

The company’s ORCAS Mosaic technology allows parents to submit applications online, and it creates a central application repository that administrators can access. The goal is to reduce paper clutter at schools, and streamline the application submission, tracking and management process.

“Ravenna Solutions has done a tremendous job building a robust infrastructure that can be configured to support the unique requirements of a diverse community of schools,” said Yi-Jian Ngo, Managing Director at the Alliance of Angels.

The company is led by Linda Yaman Haitani.
