What better place to connect with pot consumers than a taco truck, next to a head shop?
That’s the very logical marketing strategy being used in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood today by Leafly, the marijuana review app. The company marked the first day of legal marijuana sales in Washington state by sponsoring several food trucks around Seattle, in areas including downtown Seattle, South Lake Union, and Fremont.

Leafly, winner of GeekWire’s App of the Year for 2014, previously catered to medical marijuana users, positioning itself to capitalize on the legalization of recreational pot in Washington state. The company also took out a full-page ad in the Seattle Times today.
