MarshawnLynchMicrosoft is out with a handful of new wacky ads featuring some of the nation’s top football players and touting the NFL on Xbox One.

DrewBreesStars like Drew Brees, Jimmy Graham, LeSean McCoy, Demaryius Thomas and Marshawn Lynch — who eats Skittles while holding a raccoon (WTF?) — are used to show off how the Xbox One can be used to watch games or play Madden while editing your fantasy football scores at the same time using the console’s “Snap” feature.

Lynch’s spot features the running back watching his epic 67-yard touchdown run during a playoff game against New Orleans back in 2011.

“I’m all about dat action, boss,” Lynch says as he watches the highlight.

xboxonenokinectLynch’s clip is the only video of the five spots that does not mention fantasy football and instead shows off NFL Now, a new app from the league that is largely a video hub for all things NFL. Available as a free or paid app, NFL Now features instant highlights, behind-the-scenes content, historic NFL Films footage, and much more.

Meanwhile, Microsoft’s NFL App for the Xbox One and Windows 8 lets fans watch in-game video highlights, access stats, and check out NFL.com or CBSSports.com fantasy scores. Users that subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket Max from DirectTV — which just renewed its TV deal with the NFL — can watch live games directly through the NFL app.

I prefer Microsoft’s ad published last week featuring the Seahawks and its Surface tablet over these new spots, but they may entice a chuckle or two from you. Check them out below:
