Donuts, the heavily-funded operator of generic top level domains, has a new slate of domain names from which to choose. The Bellevue company, led by eNom founder Paul Stahura, announced today that it is rolling out 18 new domains, including .CHURCH, .FINANCE, .BUSINESS, .RESTAURANT, .PIZZA, and .PLACE.

Donuts also said that its domains account for nearly half of the two million generic top level domains registered in the past nine months. It plans to have 154 domains under management by the end of this month.

“As more and more targeted, user-focused domains coming online in the next few months, we expect the evolution of the Internet’s global addressing system to continue rapidly,” Stahura said in a release.
