We’re looking forward to seeing more than 700 of you for the GeekWire Summit, the Pacific Northwest’s premier technology conference, taking place Thursday, Oct. 2 in downtown Seattle.

We’ve been working for months on this very special event, and we’ve got a lot of fun stuff in store, from in-depth fireside chats with industry leaders to fun parties.

If you’re attending the Summit, here’s what you need to know.

GeekWire Summit Location: Westin Seattle, 1900 5th Avenue.

Time: Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. Thursday Oct. 2, followed by welcome and introduction at 8:50 a.m., leading directly into our first session with former Wired editor and drone entrepreneur Chris Anderson. The day will conclude with a reception at the Westin, sponsored by the Technology Association of Oregon.

Agenda: We’ve lined up a full day of great content, featuring technology leaders from across the industry, including U.S. Chief Information Officer Steven VanRoekel, Zulily co-founder Mark Vadon, Redfin CEO Glenn Kelman and journalists Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher. The day will conclude with a fireside chat with the always-entertaining John Legere, CEO of T-Mobile. Pre-Party at Zillow: The GeekWire Summit activities actually begin the night before the event, at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 1, with a pre-Summit networking reception at Zillow’s headquarters in downtown Seattle, 1301 Second Avenue, Floor 31. This event is open to all GeekWire Summit attendees. It’s a great chance to connect with fellow attendees and also some of our speakers in advance of the Summit, with complimentary food and drink.
