UP Global, the Seattle non-profit that formed last year through the combination of Startup America and Startup Weekend, is bringing on Bootstrapper Studios co-founder Bryan Zug as its new Technical Project Manager.

Zug started Bootstrapper back in July 2011 with co-founder Adam Wygle and created hundreds of event and Kickstarter videos, in addition to several other product demonstrations. The company also broadcasted games for the Seattle Reign FC women’s soccer team and raised money for a video to showcase the very best of Seattle’s tech community.

Wygle will take on the leadership reigns at Bootstrapper as Zug, who will remain an advisor to the company, moves on to UP Global where he’ll build out products and tools that “accelerate and scale the amazing work UP is up to.”

“Since meeting UP CEO Marc Nager at Gnomedex 2009, I’ve been super impressed with what he and the team have done to infect people around the world with the actionable possibilities of becoming entrepreneurs,” Zug wrote today.

Recent additions to the UP Global team include former Decide.com exec Shauna Causey, who joined as vice president of marketing a few months ago, and Seattle entrepreneur Dave Parker, who became UP Global’s vice president of product last year.
