T-Mobile began rolling out its LTE coverage back in March and today, the carrier announced that its service is now reaching 157 million people across 116 markets in the U.S.
T-Mobile had a goal of reaching 100 million people by this time, but it has far exceeded that already. The 4G LTE network is now available in places like New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Dallas, Seattle, Atlanta, Miami, and others.
T-Mobile is still on track to have nationwide 4G LTE network coverage by the end of the year and reach 200 million people in more than 200 markets.
T-Mobile today also announced a new program called JUMP! (Just Upgrade My Phone) that allows customers to upgrade their phones twice a year with a $10 per month subscription fee.
