T-Mobile CEO John Legere was really excited for this morning’s Apple announcement. For good reason: T-Mobile is finally going to get the chance to play with Apple’s new line of iPads. According to Legere’s Twitter account, there’s more news coming from T-Mobile.

First spotted by Seth Weintraub over at 9to5 Mac, Apple’s online retail site has a clue to what T-Mobile has planned for the iPad Air and iPad Mini: free data.

Specifically, if you buy an iPad Air or an iPad Mini with Retina Display that’s loaded with a T-Mobile LTE modem, you’ll be able to tap into the carrier’s LTE network for free, if you use less than 200 megabytes of data a month. Compared to AT&T, which offers 250 megabytes of data a month for $14.99, that’s quite the deal.

Judging from Legere’s tweets, we’ll see more details about what T-Mobile has in store for the iPad tomorrow morning at 9 AM.
