Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian at Town Hall in Seattle.

Updated below with answer and winner.

We’ve got a very special prize up for grabs in this week’s Name that Tech Tune challenge: A copy of “Without Their Permission,” the book by Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, signed by the author himself specifically for this contest.

This is the dogeared and marked-up copy of the book that I read to prep for my interview with Ohanian last month at Seattle’s Town Hall.

Backstage before the event, I had Ohanian sign the book for the Tech Tune contest. He wrote a fun message for the winner, along with a hand-drawn doodle of the Reddit alien (the mascot that he created).

OK, so here’s how you can win this thing! First, listen to this sound.

Now, what is that sound? If you think you know the answer, send it to contest@geekwire.com. From the pool of correct answers, we’ll pick one person at random to win “Without Their Permission,” signed by the Reddit co-founder.

Name that Tech Tune is a regular feature of the GeekWire radio show, which airs on KIRO Radio in Seattle (97.3 FM) at 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. every Saturday, except when pre-empted by live sports. The show runs every weekend on GeekWire.com. You can get every episode using this RSS feed, or by subscribing in iTunes. Also search for the show on Stitcher.

If you’re stumped, listen to the full segment from this week’s show for some clues.

Some of you are laughing after hearing the end of that segment, I hope. Send your answer to contest@geekwire.com. Listen to the show next week or check back here for the answer and winner next Saturday morning. Thanks for playing!

Update, Nov. 9: Yes, the answer was “Lost.” This was the ominous thud at the end of each show. Congrats to our winner, Marcia, and thanks to everyone who played!
