The GeekWire Summit is shaping up to be our biggest event of the year, with a cast of amazing speakers talking about everything from space travel (Eric Anderson of Space Adventures) to entrepreneurship (Benchmark’s Bill Gurley and Zillow’s Rich Barton) to the future of shopping (Hointer CEO Nadia Shouraboura).
More than 700 entrepreneurs, investors, CEOs and developers are expected to attend the Summit, taking place this Thursday Sept. 12 at the Sheraton in downtown Seattle. Tickets are still available to the main show, which will kick off Thursday morning with GeekWire co-founder Todd Bishop interviewing HBO CTO Otto Berkes.
The GeekWire team has been working hard over the past several months to put together an all-star lineup of speakers and content for the day.
But, as you know, we also like to throw big parties. And this year, we’re excited to end the Summit with a big bash on the Rainier Square rooftop patio, just a couple blocks from the Sheraton. The weather report is calling for low 80s, and sunny on Thursday, and our island-bound friends at Avalara, who are co-hosting the bash with us, certainly like to have a good time.
We know many of you can’t make the full day of activities at the Summit, and so that’s why we’re opening up a limited number of tickets to members of the GeekWire community for the after party from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. You can get your tickets for the after party here.
We’ve posted the full agenda for the day on the GeekWire Summit event site. Looking forward to seeing everyone this Thursday!
