billnyeIf you want to know about Earth’s next visitor to Jupiter, a familiar face with a familiar bow tie is here to help.

That’s right, Bill Nye is back talking science (now that he’s been booted from Dancing with the Stars) to explain what NASA’s up to with its Juno mission to Jupiter. The probe, which was launched in 2011, completed its flyby of Earth yesterday, and is now on its way to Jupiter. While Juno is hurtling through space, Nye will be hosting “Why with Nye,” an 8-part series that will inform you about the spacecraft’s mission.

So far, the former Boeing engineer has brought his signature whimsical charm to videos about how Juno will examine the contents of Jupiter’s core, the probe’s flyby with Earth and how Juno is going to stay powered even hundreds of millions of miles away from Earth.

If you want to watch more of Nye’s show, it’s up on the THNKR channel on YouTube.
