The National PTA announced today that Amazon’s Kindle will be the exclusive sponsor of a new Family Reading Experience program that will encourage children to read.
The program is powered by Kindle and is based around free family activities both on books and e-books that improve the reading skills of children in kindergarten through fifth grade.
Amazon is the “official E-reader of the National PTA,” and donates Kindles for the National PTA to distribute to PTAs in low-income or at-risk schools.
Yesterday, there were several angry iOS users after Amazon released an update to its iOS Kindle app with a bug that could delete your entire book library.
