The deals just keep coming for restaurant deal operator Pirq. The Kirkland company today is announcing a partnership with the University of Washington’s Alumni Association, providing exclusive restaurant deals in the Seattle area to its 55,000 members.

Pirq is a mobile app that gives restaurant-goers instant access to discounts at local restaurants, with users saving between 20 percent to 50 percent. As part of the deal, members of the UWAA will get exclusive deals that are not available to the public.

“Pirq is an innovative business founded by a UW alum, and it provides our members with relevant benefits they can access through their phones while generating support for the UWAA,” said Paul Rucker, Executive Director of UWAA. “Members will absolutely enjoy saving money with Pirq and, needless to say, we’re thrilled to be working with Pirq.”

Last week, Pirq unveiled a partnership to bring an exclusive set of restaurant deals to Apple employees in Silicon Valley. The company — led by Seattle entrepreneur James Sun – raised $1.9 million from Rally Capital and others last December.
