Wonder Forge, a game and puzzle company led by Cranium’s former product development chief Jacobe Chrisman, announced today that it has raised $1.75 million in new financing.

The five-year-old Seattle company markets “brain challenging” games under the brand I Can Do That! Games, including titles from children’s literature such as Dr. Seuss; Curious George and the works of Richard Scary.

The company said in a release that it expects to grow by 86 percent in the U.S. and 49 percent internationally this year

“The reception to our games and puzzles has been phenomenal,” said Chrisman. “The funding we’ve secured will help us bring our unique, quality kids’ entertainment experiences to even more households across the country and world, while it also allows us to grow into some new and exciting categories beginning in 2013.”
