You may have already seen the great speaker lineup on tap for GeekWire’s Startup Day, including Box co-founder Aaron Levie; Zulily CEO Darrell Cavens; Dwellable CEO Brenda Spoonemore and many others. We’re certainly looking forward to hearing war stories from these entrepreneurial vets, sharing tips, insights and maybe even a few tricks on how to make it in the ever-changing world of entrepreneurship.

But Startup Day — taking place Sept. 22 at Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue — isn’t just about sitting back and taking notes. This year, you’ll have the opportunity to get one-on-one advice about your startup from leading experts in law, design, finance, venture capital and marketing.

Planning to make the startup plunge, or already in the deep end? Don’t miss Startup Day 2012 — Saturday Sept. 22 in Bellevue, as Box CEO Aaron Levie and other startup vets help you find your roadmap to success. Details and tickets here.

In the morning, entrepreneurs will be able to participate in a real-world version of our Elevator Pitch, getting feedback during short sessions with leading venture capitalists from firms such as Madrona, Maveron and Vulcan.

A lucky few will then get the chance to present on-stage after lunch, trying to entice our VC panel of Frank Artale of Ignition Partners; Andy Sack of Founder’s Co-op; and Greg Gottesman of Madrona Venture Group.

If raising money or pitching to VCs isn’t your thing, we’ve also assembled more than a dozen leading marketing, design, PR and legal professionals who can offer advice and answer your burning entrepreneurial questions in our Startup Resource Center.

We hear from entrepreneurs every day who need help answering critical questions, from legal formation to how to negotiate with partners. Others just need a mentor to talk to. Our Startup Resource Center, staffed with some of the best in the Seattle tech scene, will serve both needs.

We have limited slots open for both the Startup Resource Center and the Elevator Pitch sessions with VCs. Interested in the VC pitch? Make sure to sign up under the ticket type “Entrepreneurs + Elevator Pitch” on the registration page. (The resource center is available on a first come, first-served basis).
