Trending: Microsoft closes record year with $110B in revenue, cruising past Wall Street expectations again

One of the highlights of the Penny Arcade Expo each year is a session called “Pitch Your Game Idea” — often described as the American Idol of Video Games. (As in the early rounds of American Idol, when they’re holding the auditions.)

See our rough video about with selected highlights from this afternoon’s session, with judges Kris Straub, Greg “Porkfry” Hjertager and Jeff Kalles serving the traditional roles of judges and peanut gallery.

Random question: Where were the women this year? Unless I missed someone, every single person who pitched was a guy. Granted, the PAX audience skews decidedly male, but some of the most creative pitches in past years came from women.

At any rate, lots of fun stuff and hope you enjoy the video as some Sunday entertainment.
