Twenty one entrepreneurs in the areas of clean tech, green IT, energy efficiency and more competed at the ZINO Society’s 5th Annual ZINO Green Investment Forum this week. But there will be only one winner of the $50,000 top prize. We are getting a little closer to discovering who that is, with Zino announcing the four finalists which emerged from the April 26th event.

They are:

Columbia Power Technologies:

MyTown Inc:  MyTown is an e-Service for non-profit organizations to receive donations from existing donors for 1 percent rather than the 3 percent to 5 percent that Visa-MasterCard charge.

Puralytics:  Puralytics LED nanotechnology based water purification system eliminates contaminants and significantly decreases power consumption and water waste.

WISErg Corporation: WISErg creates premium organic fertilizers and renewable biogas energy using a community’s own compostable waste.

The final winner of the $50,000 prize will be announced in the next 60 days.
