Cozi wants to make sure that families keep their “ducks in a row.” And just how is the Seattle online family scheduling and calendar startup planning to get its message across? But, of course, by creating the “longest line of little yellow rubber ducks” that the world has ever seen. It plans to host the spectacle (and set a Guinness World Record in the process) at Magnuson Park’s Kite Hill in Seattle at 1 p.m. on June 5th.

“Too many families are playing duck, duck, goose with their schedules,” said Cozi CEO Robbie Cape in a press release announcing the stunt. “We’re removing the geese from the equation and getting Cozi ducks in a row … literally. This is a cheerful expression of what families do every single day with Cozi. And we get to make ducky history in the process!”

It will take an estimate 18,103 ducks to claim the record, and a Guinness representative is set to be on hand to make it official.

We might not have the LinkedIn IPO in Seattle. But, this is the next best thing, right?

Cozi is having a little fun with the concept, asking members of the community to come rain or shine but to refrain from wearing down jackets.

Founded in 2005, Cozi now boasts more than three million registered members. Backed by newspaper giant Gannett and others, the company has raised more than $20 million to date.
