xboxonenokinectFor a limited time, the Xbox One is now cheaper than the PlayStation 4 in the U.K.

As part of a retail promotion, Microsoft has dropped the price of the Kinect-less console at its online store to £330, which is about £20 cheaper than the PS4. As GameSpot notes, some retailers are even offering Xbox One bundles at that price point.

This is the third time Microsoft has cut the Xbox One price in the past 10 months in the U.K. The company launched the console in November at £429.99, dropped the price to £399 three months later, and then announced an Xbox One without the Kinect sensor in May for £349, which is what the PS4 has sold for since November.

In the U.S., the Xbox One without a Kinect is going for $399 — $499 with the motion-tracking device — while the PS4 remains at $399.

Last week during the launch of Destiny, IGN noted that the PS4 outsold the Xbox One by a 2-to-1 margin. Meanwhile, Sony continues to outpace Microsoft in worldwide console sales.
