microsoftlogo1-1024x680Microsoft fans, this bundle is for you.

The Redmond company today launched a new $199 annual plan that combines four of the company’s subscriptions into one giant bundle — Office 365 Home, Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Music and Skype Unlimited World calling and WiFi.

The “Work & Play Bundle” is a significant savings compared with buying the services individually. Office 365 and Xbox Music add up to nearly $200 on their own, for example.

The move also illustrates just how many of Microsoft’s products are now subscription-based. About the only thing missing is Windows, and we could very well see that at some point in the not-too-distant future.

The Work & Play Bundle is only available for purchase in physical Microsoft retail stores in the United States, and it’s only available from today through Jan 4. Here’s the subscription page for more info.
