Ah, the perks of being a late night TV host.

On his show Thursday night, Jimmy Fallon got a chance to demo Sony’s just-announced PS4 and played a little Killzone: Shadow Fall.

“I’m very excited about this,” Fallon said. “I’m a gamer, I’m a geek.”

Based on Fallon’s performance on the sticks, it sure didn’t seem like it. He only got 30 seconds to try the shooter out, but couldn’t seem to aim straight.

“I can’t, I can’t — I’m awful, I’m sorry,” Fallon said as he tried his hand on Sony’s new console.

Though the new Dual Shock controller was on display, the actual PS4 console was nowhere to be found. Sony did not show off the new machine at Wednesday’s event, either.

Reports are out today that Microsoft is due to unveil its next-gen console in April.
