Vancouver Comic Art Festival: Saturday, 5/25 – Sunday, 5/26. All day. This is a FREE comic art festival – no admission! So you can save your cash for all the loads of awesome, independent art you’ll certainly want to purchase. This is a breath of fresh air amidst the overly-commercialized comic conventions out there.
PolyglotConf 2013: Vancouver: Friday, 5/24 – Sunday, 5/26 All day. An alternative software development “un-conference” for developers that might have a different outlook, background, or opinion from the mainstream.
