LoveFilm, Europe’s leading movie subscription services that Amazon bought in 2011, will now offer “hundreds of episodes”  from U.S. comedies like The Office and 30 Rock thanks to a new streaming deal with NBCUniversal International TV. The company will also offer NBCU science fiction dramas like Heroes and David Hasselhoff’s ’80s cult TV classic Knight Rider to its members.

Last January, LoveFilm inked deals with ITV and BBC WorldWide. Netflix UK, which launched last January, is its biggest competitor with over a million members.

This deal comes on the heels of another LoveFilm/NBCUniversal streaming deal signed in May 2012. Users of LoveFilm Instant, the company’s TV and movie streaming service, can watch programming on the PC, Sony PlayStation, XBOx 360, iPad and web-enabled TV sets.
