Reuters reports that Amazon employs about 9,000 people in Germany. The strike is being led by the large German trade union Verdi, which is looking to boost pay and benefits for workers.

Amazon told Reuters that deliveries would not be impacted, and that workers in Germany already made as much or more than workers at other logistics companies.
