Video: Microsoft Store pulls plug on table-stomping rapper

There’s no word on exactly how much damage the rapper Machine Gun Kelly caused during this appearance last week at the Microsoft Store in Atlanta, but clearly this wasn’t what the company was expecting in the way of a performance.

After delivering a few profanities, the rapper jumped from table to table, stomping around (and possibly on) several demo laptops and tablets. Ultimately his music and mic were cut off, and he was escorted to the back of the room, presumably to a rear exit.

Microsoft has made a habit of hosting musical performances in conjunction with its store openings, but this appearance was reportedly scheduled to mark The Source magazine’s Power 30 Issue, according to AllHipHop.com.

Maybe they should stick to Miley Cyrus?

You should include a link to the developer conference video. That song was hilarious. I love Microsoft Marketing, they make me laugh so hard.

That’s some funny sh*t. Poor MS, they never new what hit ‘em.

Who was the person that choose this guy? Stupid and that person should be fired.

Kudos to Microsoft for stopping this man before he damaged valuable merchandise or the staff or patrons of the store. If there’s one thing Microsoft won’t tolerate, it’s a disruptive buffoon who stomps around like he owns the place.

Then why is Ballmer still there?

Kudos to Microsoft for showing us this man stomping on Microsoft
merchandise. If there’s one thing we will tolerate it’s Microsoft
providing us with a rich user experience
from profanities shouted by a disruptive buffoon.
