This is not what T-Mobile needed. The nation’s fourth largest wireless carrier confirmed Monday night that its data services are down.

“T-Mobile is experiencing a network data issue. Service for some customers may be impacted. We’ll keep everyone posted,” according to a Tweet from the company.

It certainly hasn’t been a very good few days for T-Mobile whose CEO, Philipp Humm, suddenly resigned to take a job with Vodafone last week. Earlier today, we posted about an irate man who tore apart a T-Mobile store in Manchester, England.

UPDATE 9;45 P.M.: T-Mobile is now saying via Twitter that services are returning to normal, telling some customers to restart their phones if they continue to experience problems.
