Walmart received 24.8 million visits, making it the most visited online retail site on Thanksgiving for the seventh year in a row. Amazon.com ranked second with 21 million visits.

Hitwise plans to release data from Black Friday later today. Meanwhile, IBM released a study indicating that online sales on Black Friday were up 24 percent compared to the same period last year.
