The connected workplace combines the human element with the intelligence of smart devices and the power and might of supercomputing data processing. Right here in Seattle, the connected workplace is becoming a reality through Catalyst Workplace Activation and Sirqul’s concept of the “Smart Office” where people engage, innovate, and share knowledge in meaningful ways. Sirqul will provide the technological foundation, machine learning, and AI to capture the essence and data to not only accelerate productivity, but also enable the next wave of innovative ideas to the forefront through a connected, enlightened office environment.

“Our mission is to support and enable the unique purpose and character of each organization, accommodate a variety of day-to-day work activities, adapt to evolving workstyles, and most importantly engage people in the workplace to be more collaborative, inspired, and innovative through the infusion of technology into the process”, said Sean O’Brien, President & CEO of Catalyst Workplace Activation.

The Vision of Technology

In partnership, Sirqul and Catalyst Workplace Activation will demonstrate the “Smart Office of the Future” using Sirqul’s expertise as a leading technology platform for capturing the “Intelligence of Things” (IoT) in both corporate and commercial smart office spaces. With Sirqul engineering the tech platform and Catalyst leading in workplace activation and interior space furnishings, both will bring connected, engaging, and intelligent experiences and insights to the workplace.

Offices can now reveal the heartbeat of company interactions, unknown trends, and alleviate burdens of the workday by providing never seen before insight and data.

“This collaborative partnership allows us to develop high impact integrated solutions for the workplace while improving employee productivity and bottom-line revenue for businesses. Inspired to transform the workplace, we look forward to combining people, place and technology to exceed the expectations and needs of business today and in the future”, said Robert Frederick, CEO & Founder of Sirqul.

Responsive Workplace Environments

This partnership will disrupt the “traditional” office furniture conversation by examining the intersection of people, place, and technology. We realize it is increasingly evident that the design of spaces is an enabler to meaningful interactions between people and fosters a sense of community and culture by taking on the challenges of designing for a more productive, collaborative, and inspiring workplace, leveraging technology to process data on how people work, communicate and engage with one another.

Sirqul’s on-premise and cloud solutions will enable smart devices to not only anonymously track intent, movement, dwell times, space utilization, and interactions, but also act by adjusting temperatures, reserving conference rooms, ordering food, making recommendations, providing digital concierge services, checking-in guests, and more. In short, we need to design spaces that make the physical work environment intelligent and adaptable to company workflows. In doing so, we will create a future where workplaces allow us to be more productive, innovative, and happy.

The Catalyst Loft Lives as an Innovation Workplace Lab

The Catalyst Loft is a living, ever-changing lab for thought leadership, learning, and dialogue on the modern workplace – injecting new ideas to elevate workplace collaboration and satisfaction. The Catalyst Loft brings together customers, partners, commercial real estate professionals, architects, designers, and manufacturers together for advancing the discussion around the workplace. The public is invited to join in on the discussions that will lead us to our future workplace and to tour the three core zones of people, place, and technology. By appointment only, please contact Catalyst to schedule your personal visit.

The Age of Intelligence

The age of intelligence has been coming for many years. Its push into the limelight is being driven by affordable computing power, unlimited data storage, the ability to process petabytes of information in less time than it takes to drink a cup of coffee. Streaming, real-time analytics and taking action all while remaining almost invisible are the keys to success in this age for the evolving work environment. Such is the partnership between Sirqul and Catalyst Workplace Activation.
