About City of Ketchikan
Ketchikan is located on the Southern portion of the Southeast Alaska Panhandle in the Tongass National Forest. Having a population of approximately 14,000 residents, Ketchikan is located on Revillagigedo Island approximately 679 air miles north of Seattle, Washington - accessible only by air or boat. Ketchikan is known as the King Salmon Capital of the World. Our climate is mild, and we have world-class fishing, hunting, boating and scenery.
