Seattle Physical AI Workshop and Meetup
A meetup-and-workshop evening on physical AI, hosted by Voxel51 with Nebius in Kane Hall’s Walker-Ames Room at the University of Washington. The first hour is lightning talks from local practitioners working across AI, machine learning and computer vision; the rest is hands-on building with robotics and sensor data.
Featured speakers are Nate Bennett of Ark CV, on “When 99% Accuracy Isn’t Good Enough: The Long (Fish)Tail of Real-World Computer Vision,” about deploying fish-monitoring computer vision in messy conditions, and Ryan Avery of Wherobots, on “Mapping Agricultural Fields of the World with RasterFlow,” about processing petabytes of satellite imagery into 10-meter global maps of field boundaries. Hosts are Daniel Gural of Voxel51 and Dhruv Diddi of Nebius.

- 6:30-8 p.m. — Hands-on workshop using the DROID robotics dataset in FiftyOne, covering curation, embeddings, auto-labeling and live fine-tuning of a YOLO11n detector
