Dominic Gates is a journalist based in Seattle. For 22 years he covered Boeing and the aerospace industry for The Seattle Times, where he won the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting for stories that exposed the design flaws in the Boeing 737 MAX behind two fatal crashes and the failures in government oversight that let them through.
